I do admire the movie's ambition, but that, too, can only take a picture so far. STARRY EYES is a great example of a film I admire but it strung its audience along too much. I wanted IT FOLLOWS to do...

Look, I'm all for ambiguity and brevity in exposition and letting a film slowly burn. But then...

Great to see it's opening wide, but have they ramped up marketing? That PTA from OW may not translate to big box office if no one outside of horror circles is aware of it.

I absolutely loved The Guest; my second-favorite film of 2014.

On the other hand, I strongly disliked The Babadook. Talk about the hype train running wild. Sometimes I wonder if half the people...
