If you don't mind importing, Madman Entertainment (Australia) is also releasing a 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray / DVD combo release on December 4th. The discs will be based on what FUNimation is...

FUNi's native HD BD releases may suffer from banding issues. Again YMMV. Some people hate it, some don't care for it or notice it.

No way to know right now. FUNimation can be a mix bag when it comes to BD video quality (and depending on how picky you're).

The first English dub that was created for the movie (around 1990). It's not really considered to be a great dub, but more as something nostalgic. This was not included with the Bandai Visual USA...

Just a FYI, the FUNimation release will include the Streamline dub. If that makes a difference in your purchase decision.
