They kinda do make him too much of a Superman. He is best sniper, the best seal, the legend, the best father after he starts helping veterans, etc... I also kind of hated how his sassy intelligent...

Lol, you just essentially defined what a jingoistic movie is. You don't see if because the movie reflects your own political beliefs. Nothing wrong with that, but it is what it is.

Seems a movie that you cannot divorce your political views from in terms of your enjoyment of the movie. It is a VERY VERY jingoistic movie. If you hold with that. you will likely enjoy it and...

Glorifying a delusional psychopathic sniper who killed hundreds of people and seemed to enjoy it is not synonymous with "pro military" I think there are also far more pro military and even pro war...

What is the point of this movie?

To glorify his legacy as a sniper and mourn his death, or to show him as the delusional psychopathic creep he was that essentially was licensed by the government...
