Tyler Foster's last paragraph is aptly put and very succinct. eschews my sentiments perfectly.

As a director, Russell's style tends to change from film to film, but here he adopts someone else's....

definitely not 140 minutes. just over 2 for me, but the pacing was a problem for me as well.

Well, I wasn't captivated like I thought I would be. Very good movie, great performances, but it didn't wow me.
