Now I'm regretting not picking up some of those Fantagraphics half-price gift cards over the holidays and filling in some of these volumes.

I only bought through '72 and feel bad about it, but I've read hardly any of them. I should probably start throwing them on my wish list one double-volume at a time.

Great news. I like the look of the hardcover volumes on my shelf but wouldn't mind getting some of these for my favorite years. List is $22.99 (hardcover is $28.95, so not a huge difference).

That first volume seemed magical: its heft, the feel of the dust jacket and paper, opening up to "How I hate him!" (at least I think that was the first strip).

I'm not sure which is more mind-boggling: the fact that they planned this out for 12 years or the fact that we're already 2/3 done. Where does the time go? :eek:
