The general was originally planning to send him as an observer, but once Cage started refusing orders, then threatening to blackmail him, and then trying to run away, the General was so pissed off...

Really? He's a really nice guy - goes out of his way to be polite to people. I'd rather be pals with a nice guy with some rather odd religious beliefs than a 'normal' Christian who treats people...

Pretty good flick. Not as good as the new X-Men, but a lot better than Godzilla. Although the story was predictable, it was fun and well-paced. Worth checking out.

Yeah, I didn't get all the love for LOOPER either...it had a decent first-half, but fell apart in the second half. Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but not one I'd ever want to watch again.
