I do hope this show breaks from the Will & Grace mold because by probably 4-5 seasons in, the characters were complete caricatures (all of them). Will wasn't as stereotypical as he possibly could...

I hope that the documentary style is a tool there to help tell backstory for the characters that will fade into the background over the course of a season.
