That's usually what I do. Spend 1-2 bucks at most over the reward value. I don't shop there to spend any real money. IIRC, in the last year, I only spent more than a buck or two at Kmart ONCE. ...

Thanks for this. I had a bonus $5 in Shopyourway points in my account, expiring tomorrow, so I got it for $7.99. Then I used my regular points, so I actually paid nothing out of pocket!
