It's sad to me because I like Man of Steel, even if it does have flaws. It made for a decent jumping off point for more movies, but instead they rushed to Batman V Superman and Justice League.

I didn't realize there were rumors of that even being a thing. That said, when I watched Justice League again I thought he was really weak in the role.

Peter Jackson doesn't interest me much either, but I was never a big fan of LOTR, and thought the Hobbit movies and King Kong were below average.

It doesn't seem that tricky, we've already seen characters with de-emphasized origin movies. And they just have to follow the blueprint that Marvel did recently with Spider-man if they do a reboot.

Sure, I just think that aspect of Marvel movies is overblown. There are Marvel movies that don't have cameos, like Guardians or Doctor Strange, or just have small references that aren't detrimental...

Given that their extended universe has been shaky, I don't mind that at all. I'm sure there will be some way to fit it in, if necessary though.
