This movie, while it did not "scare" me, it CREEPED the hell out of me, especially the first half.
I liked it, not revolutionary, but definitely worth seeing.

my only gripe was that it devolved...

It is intended to look the way it did, the camera was digital, but not the kind of digital camera you associate with George Lucas and Attack of the CLones.
