Damn that's too bad. Fox is launching a sitcom-centric channel as well, I believe. Sucks that neither pulled the trigger on this.

I don't think it needed much explanation. The show didn't pull in viewers. Sure, ABC jerked it around in different time slots but it got 3 seasons to find a big enough audience and it didn't.
