No doubt, using a word with an entirely different meaning is a graver grammatical transgression than serially mispronouncing a word. Maybe someone should give Bruce a heads-up.

^Agreed. Of his post-millennial albums I loved Wrecking Ball and The Rising, and liked Magic and Working on a Dream.

Pretty decent album, but a substantial comedown from the rousing Wrecking Ball, in my estimation. I prefer Rocking Springsteen to Contemplative "put-on Southern drawl" Springsteen.

You're not the only one. I hate it. New material or fuggediboutit. Or an album of old outtakes that have never/seldom been heard before, like Tracks.
Still, Wrecking Ball was his best in years...
