Angel of Darkness was kind of a crap follow-up novel.

Maybe they can do more season and tell some original stories with these characters after they adapt AoD.

Like I said upthread, this would have worked better as a movie.

I read the novel about twenty years ago (*gulp*) and liked it a lot, but there wasn't enough plot in it to sustain a ten hour...

Loved The Alienist, though the follow-up novel, The Angel of Darkness, was a let-down.

Looking forward to the tv series, though I think it would have worked better as a movie.
