Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

These weekly series just seem like a moneygrab. I really enjoyed 52, and it was all downhill from there (with a huge chasm in Countdown). You'd think they'd actually plot out the entire thing...

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

I finally made it through the new 52 runs of Worlds Finest (when it was Power Girl and Huntress), Earth 2 and Earth 2 World's End. I bought them all digitally through various sales but finally...

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

I can't imagine bringing an omnibus on a plane. When I was younger I'd pack Sandman trades for the plane ride. But for now I have my trusty iPad and a ton of comics.

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

The Uncanny volume 1 omnibus is getting a reprint.

But as a kid, The Dark Phoenix Saga was one of the few collections that were out, and I read it fine without reading the earlier issues.

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

Avengers vs. X-men isn't an omnibus, though... it was also pretty expensive for what it contained, and I thought part of it was because they were giving you a digital copy.

I still find Marvel's...

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

I have no idea why the wait between volumes was so long (I think the last one came out in 2011) but I picked up the Trial of Captain America Omnibus. That completes Brubaker's run, right?

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

I used to buy the thin Hardcovers pretty regularly, until they went down to four or five issues a piece and the cost per issue, even with discount, didn't seem worth it.

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

Sorry, missed this before.

I think it's definitely worth buying if you like Morrison's DC superhero stuff (and not everyone does). It is classic Morrison, most of the time the technobabble is so...

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

Isn't Uncanny X-Force the second series with those characters? Might be worth checking out the regular X-force title Remender worked on.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Seven Soldiers of...
