They had Fincher shoot a second Affleck/Pike cover for the Fall Movie Preview issue. It got bumped by Robin William's death.

The new EW came today. It was supposed to have Gone Girl on the cover (again) with a photo of Affleck and Pike shot by Fincher (again) -- then you know what happened and the cover got switched. ...

Honestly, I don't know how you cut a trailer without giving some of that stuff away, even though it takes a while for Nick to become the prime suspect. Still, they show some stuff in that trailer...

The first trailer had all sort of mystery surrounding it. The second one is pretty self-explanatory and spoilery.

Way too many spoilers in that trailer. Takes you well past the midway point of the book.
