I'll be the first to admit I'm partial to stuff up to and including Rust in Peace, but that was painfully bad. Not that I expected Wake up Dead or anything, but I couldn't even listen to the entire song it was so awkwardly horrible, like bad christian rock bad.

Eh, I think it's kinda fun actually. Then again I'm not opposed to a metal band getting a little rocking versus straight up metal all the time. Plus by now its apparent he isnt going to be able to pull off another Rust in Peace as much as everyone might want. I always felt that Mustaine was pretty effective at writing a pop hook when he wanted. But if that's what he's going for on this one I hope it's more Youthanasia/ Cryptic Writings and less Risk.

Experimentation remains the best catalyst for progression. Rather than sticking to any pre-existing blueprints or conventions, modern hard rock icon David Draiman of Disturbed and studio collaborator Geno Lenardo [ex-Filter] constructed DEVICE from strands of hard rock, industrial, and electronica.
While the Grammy© Award-nominated, multiplatinum powerhouse Disturbed was on hiatus, Lenardo reached out to Draiman to collaborate on a song for the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack in late 2011. As soon as the singer heard the music, he was both intrigued and inspired. The duo then cut "Hunted" in Chicago. Even though the track didn't ultimately make the final soundtrack album due to circumstances beyond their control, Draiman urged that they hold on to it and continue writing music. They soon enlisted Will Hunt from Evanescence and guitarist Virus from Dope and Rock of Ages, and had an entire album's worth of material resulting in the release of their new, self-titled debut on Warner Bros. MEGADETH FILMS 'SUPER COLLIDER' VIDEO
Megadeth filmed a video for the title track and first single from the band's new album, "Super Collider", on Friday, May 10 in the Los Angeles area. California-based model, actress, singer and songwriter Hunter Elizabeth was cast in the lead role in the clip, which she says is "about a high-school couple still loving each other after all the years after graduation, and at the 10-year reunion, both characters find themselves successful (a model and a mathematician) and still very in love."

California-based model, actress, singer and songwriter Hunter Elizabeth was cast in the lead role in the clip, which she says is "about a high-school couple still loving each other after all the years after graduation, and at the 10-year reunion, both characters find themselves successful (a model and a mathematician) and still very in love."
