Anthony Ingruber is the only fucking choice.

He's already played a young Harrison Ford.

Need to check out that movie still. But based on that... yeah I would be on board with him.

Max Thieriot is the only halfway decent pick and I can imagine him capturing the character well enough. Talent aside, the rest of these names are TERRIBLE choices for Han Solo. I really hope they go with an unknown.
In fairness, it's essentially all of young Hollywood, so we're bound to see many potentials we won't want.

Harrison Ford clearly dumbed his voice. And he's not even a good physical actor.

Just finished Kingsman: The Secret Service and the last scene reminded me of the Star Wars hangar bay scene. Taron Egerton convinced me he has the swagger to be Solo.

He was rumored for the role a while back.

Disney and Lucasfilm are inching closer to finding their young Han Solo for the upcoming untitled “Star Wars” spinoff.

Sources tell Variety that after seeing thousands of actors, execs have cut the list down to about a dozen actors with Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, “Brooklyn” star Emory Cohen and “Everybody Wants Some” actor Blake Jenner among the names making the cut.

NDAs and test deals are still being worked out, but producer Kathleen Kennedy and directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will begin testing the new group with a decision expected in the next couple of weeks.

The film does not shoot until next January, but sources close to the situation say the reason for such an early decision has more to do with another “Star Wars” film currently shooting, rather than the untitled “Han Solo” pic. While insiders were unable to confirm, the new Solo could have a small cameo in “Rogue One: A Star Wars” before appearing in his own standalone pic.

“Rogue One” still has a month of shooting to go and is supposed to be set between “Episode III” and “Episode IV,” making this new Han Solo age appropriate for an appearance in the film. Disney and Marvel used the same strategy for their new Spider-Man by casting Tom Holland early in order for him to cameo in “Captain America: Civil War” before appearing in his own film.

With the exception of Eastwood, who’s 29, Disney and Lucasfilm seem to be zeroing in on actors between the ages of 20 to 25. The studios tested actors as young as 17 to as old as 34.

The untitled pic is set to bow on May 25, 2018.

Emory Cohen and Blake Jenner aren't terrible. Ansel Elgort maybe...

re: Star Wars Anthology: Untitled Han Solo Film (2018, D: Miller & Lord)

This is Han Fucking Solo.

Enough of the fat lesbian Teller.

As for the others out of that list, I'd go with Eastwood. Best looking and looks like a man.

Lerman reminds me of LaBoof, Dave Franco is a dork, Elgort looks like Tellers lover, the others I don't know but they sure don't have the look.

They just need to do another film/character. Going to 40 years of Ford being Solo, no one will live up to it. Just think if they use make-up to make them try to look like him. Big fake nose. Barf!

Eastwood would physically resemble it more.

Dunno how the other guys are even lined up for it.

I don't care for Solo beyond the 4 films he's in. Just don't care to know his history really. But I'm game for this just for Lord and Miller.

My wife drools over Eastwood, for what it's worth. I guess I'd be OK with him, but I still hate this idea.

I'd rather they cast an unknown than any of these non-draws.

Teller is the worst choice they could make given who they are considering.

The fact that they're even considering her, errr... I mean, him, is laughable.

Get Harrison Ford and use that software that was used to de-age Patrick Stewart and Ian McCellan in that X-Men movie.

Not that anyone cares, but I will personally boycott all these new Star Wars movies if that guy gets the part. Jesus Christ...

The only way for this to work the way it should is to get someone the audience can buy as a young Harrison Ford. Scott Eastwood is too old, but comes the closest physically. Franco, Lerman and Teller miss the mark by a mile... and the other candidates are questionable at best. Go back to the drawing board, Hollywood.

I'm kinda surprised Max Thieriot didn't make the cut. I can still see more Ford in him than any other actor who was linked to this.

Spoiler:

No, what Marvel did with Michael Douglas in Ant-Man. It was amazing.

With both this and the X-Men effects, I suspect that it would work OK for a scene, but would get pricey if used for the length of an entire movie.

Except for Eastwood, this list sort of feels like someone is trolling us. I mean, Miles Teller? Come on man. It's Han Solo for god's sake.
