I was lost at "Guy Ritchie" and "Charlie Hunnam", but, yikes, that synopsis sounds like it'll be a magical mess.

I don't think there even were streets and back alleys in English villages when Arthur was young.

Maybe this is a movie adaptation of X-Kaliber 2097?

Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur Film Delayed Until 2017
DECEMBER 21, 2015 | 04:09PM PT
Dave McNary
Film Reporter
@Variety_DMcNary

Warner Bros. has pushed back Guy Ritchie’s untitled King Arthur movie, starring Charlie Hunnam, from next July 22 to the following Presidents Day weekend on Feb. 17, 2017.

The King Arthur movie, which also stars Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey as Guinevere, Jude Law, Djimon Honsou and Katie McGrath, will open against Sony’s “Bad Boys 3” and 20th Century Fox’s “Maze Runner: The Death Cure.”

Warner Bros. will also move an untitled New Line horror film — also known as “Lights Out” — into the July 22 slot from its Sept. 9 slot. Warner Bros. announced Friday that it would open the Tom Hanks movie “Sully” into the Sept. 9 date.

“Lights Out,” produced by James Wan, follows a woman who’s terrorized when the lights go out. It will open against Paramount/Skydance’s “Star Trek Beyond” and “Fox’s Ice Age: Collision Course.”

This decade? Probably not at this point. But he needs to go back to what he knows and give us some more gangster shit. I'm not too hyped about seeing a Guy Ritchie King Arthur movie.

What's with the delay, the theme music was written years ago? "I like to push the pram-a-lot"

Charlie Hunnam’s King Arthur Movie Pushed Back to March 2017
JANUARY 21, 2016 | 04:43PM PT
Dave McNary
Film Reporter
@Variety_DMcNary

Warner Bros. has pushed back Guy Ritchie’s untitled King Arthur movie, starring Charlie Hunnam, from the Presidents’ Day weekend on Feb. 17, 2017, to March 24, 2017.

The King Arthur movie, which also stars Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey as Guinevere, Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou and Katie McGrath, will open against Lionsgate’s “Power Rangers” movie. It was previously going up against Sony’s “Bad Boys 3” and 20th Century Fox’s “Maze Runner: The Death Cure.”

It’s the second time that Warner Bros. has moved the King Arthur project backwards. It announced in December that it was going to open the film seven months after its originally scheduled launch on July 22, 2016.

The King Arthur movie is produced by Akiva Goldsman, Guy Ritchie, Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell and Charlie Hunnam. Village Roadshow co-produced and co-financed.

Fucking loved this trailer. As soon as that line about "what, you writing a book?" hit I was like that's Guy fucking Ritchie. Looks dope.

Interesting... looks like a bit of a mess... a movie in search of an audience.

Looks bad to me. Ritchie mixed in with this world doesn't seem to work as well as say, Sherlock Holmes did, at least from the dialog and editing of the start of the trailer.

I think it looks awful. But I hate Guy Ritchie as a director...don't even like the Sherlock Holmes movies, despite being a RDJ fan.

Well, yeah, you don't like Guy Ritchie. I can see why you don't think this looks cool.
