I don't care about the AoS guys. They're very much not something most care for anyway.. but it'd be sad to not see Murdock, Jones, Rand, and Cage not there. Considering how IW is kind of the thing where they might prove useful.

I hope the TV crew are not in the movie, just so fans will bitch about them not being in it, after saying BvS has too many characters.

Well the early Starlin versions of the Magys with the huge Afro were not the best luck, but I really liked the look and character from the Infinity War series. He would make a great villain.
As for including the Netflix characters, well it might be a cramped two movies already. I think a better idea would be to have the Defenders in a tie-in Inifinity War TV movie dealing with the crisis ground level in New York. Throw in a couple of cameos and it could tie in nicely. Same way they do tie-ins for comic series with individual comics running their own story threads building into the larger story could work with this.

I could see excluding the characters from Agents of SHIELD because honestly who really cares? Excluding characters like Daredevil and Jessica Jones because they're Netflix based shows seems odd though. Both those shows have been very well done and would fit in nicely with the rest of the MCU. Not really sure I get why there's a divide with Feige and those two shows.

Marvel tv still falls under the control of Isaac Permutter, the guy Feige just pulled a huge power play to get away from. Now that Feige is free of his talons, I'm sure he's not anxious to work on a project with him.

But he wouldn't need to, no? Alan Horn is the guy at top... and he's giving Feige all this power... wouldn't that trump Perlmutter and his influence to what Feige would want?

I don't know. Disney has let Marvel be pretty autonomous, something like that might be seen as a further power grab. Permutter is Disney's largest individual shareholder, so there's probably a fine line to walk to keep everyone happy.

I kind of wish all these guys were in Civil War, or at least had cameos. I think it would be great to see Coulson back in the movies though.

I liked Coulson cuz he was that guy in the corner that did stuff but... eh. AoS sucks.
Civil War would have been the perfect place for the Defenders to be in. Still amazed they didn't put them in there. Plus.. it adds a body count to what still is kind of a low number for a "civil war" between the heroes.
Man, I really liked the comic's big battles. Some crazy shit going on in those panels.

It would be nice to see a small bit with the small screen guys. It doesn't have to be a full scene involvement, but I would like something more than a passing reference to "those guys in Hell's Kitchen" or whatever.
But if it doesn't show up, it's not likely to affect my enjoyment of the movie.

Not sure if this will be a good or bad thing. Especially if the movie is 2+ hours.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 - 2 Will Be Shot Entirely In IMAX
An interview is now online from China featuring "Captain America: Civil War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo. In the interview, the directing duo talked about filming 20 minutes of IMAX footage for 'Civil War' and revealed that they decided to film both "Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 & 2" in IMAX. On the decision to utilize new technology to film "Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 & 2" using IMAX cameras the Russo's said:
'I just feel that the thing that distinguishes movies right now is that widescreen format," director Joe Russo stated. "Why you go out of your house and go to the theater is to have that experience that you can't have in your house."
The Russo Brothers previously helmed "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and are currently in post-production on "Captain America: Civil War" which will feature The Avengers divided between one another siding with either Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) or Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). How would that be bad?
At its worst, they'll have to figure in 2 ratios to accommodate.
That's the only bad thing I could think of.

I meant in terms of staring at a the full IMAX screen filled up. Longest I've sat through a full IMAX was one of their documentaries that was 45 minutes. I remember feeling tired after that.

I like the extra added resolution Imax brings to the table - recall on the Dark Knight blu-ray, the stark difference between the Imax and regular scenes.

Even worse that the 35mm footage looks like crap cuz of the way they did it on the BD.
Just find a good seat and you'll be fine. If you can't handle IMAX visuals it's cuz you're weak. It's a fucking screen. A very pretty image on a screen with that format.

I agree. I'll never see Avengers in Imax, may not even see it in the theater. The blu-ray should be benefit big time.
