Watched this today. Absurd plot and action sequences, but that was to be expected. I was able to look past those things and enjoy it for what it was, a silly parody of Bond films. Laughed out loud my fair share of times. Some good back and forth between McCarthy and Byrne or McCarthy and Statham.

Checked out the DVD from the library and I was surprised that the film was good. I can't stand MM but she was alright as was the supporting cast. All of them.
I did not know there was an unrated cut - what's the difference?

I like most of this movie still, but the whole concert / 50 cent cameo just makes me cringe to no end.

I honestly don't remember too much of what McCarthy's character did. Some bits and pieces. Fucking loved Statham, Law, Bryne, and Serafinowicz.

Statham's charscter was a welcome surprise, since I thought he was supposed to be a smart calculating agent. Didn't even know Law was in it, and he was well cast. Has he done comedy before?
McCarthy also was good, character thinks on her feet a lot/changes her persona.

Statham's character seemed much more of a badass spy then I remembered. I recall him being kind of a doufus.
Anyone seen both? It really kicked in the second hour of the unrated and was more of what I remembered.
Getting old sucks...

I enjoyed this. Not great but certainly some laughs. McCarthy and statham had some good chemistry and timing
