I'd have more appreciation for the interviewer if he didn't stutter and tip toe around what he wanted to ask and was just more direct. I also appreciate RDJ just walking out of the interview, as it's clearly not what he was there for and he handled that well. I guess it's nice to see a press interview that wasn't so controlled as they usually are, but blindsiding anyone is still unprofessional.

British news reporting for the big three TV stations generally get more interesting reporting than other international reporting and its because they tend to ask different questions which are not softball or sycophantic (see Jeremy Paxman in almost any interview). I am familiar with this reporter and whilst i think the interview started off well, and i believe that he has every right to ask an interviewee about their past, i think he went too far when questioning if RDJ might still harbor those temptations to go back to the bad old days. The guy has gone from being close to a death ride of drugs and booze and career suicide to cleaning himself up and having the best career resurgence of anyone in Hollywood. Good for him that he managed to do it. The character of Stark relates very closely to RDJ in his addictions and i remember thinking when i heard of his being cast as the character as an inspired choice.
I truly hate puff piece interviews and i am not a fan of railroading someone (unless that person has universally despised notions or beliefs that go against the good of humanity and the planet....and then i like to see someone destroyed in an interview), but at the same time i think that interviewers should have some modicum of respect for the person sat in front of them, whether they like them or not.

RDJ looked soooooooo pissed towards the end. You can see it in his eyes and he started breathing heavy.

It's a time and place issue. These interviews are for a press junket and exist solely to promote the film in question. The interviewer is allowed to ask the questions he/she pleases as long as they are on point. Previous arrests and drug abuse history have no place among said questions. There are other sorts of interviews for that. What that asshat reporter did was ambush journalism.
Furthermore, what exactly did this douche hope to gain? AS if RDJ was going to make some revelations about his past or something.

After watching the Tarantino interview. I am now convinced that guy is an ass by pushing things too far. And I love Tarantino candor so much, and he fought it and won and then answer the next question like nothing had happen, what a cool dude

In an interview Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner jokingly called the Black Widow a "whore" and a "slut" and now have to apologize for it.
What's next? An actor apologizing for what their character says or does?

I don't know. It was clearly a joke. And the way it was said and Evans reaction was pretty hilarious to me. People overreact way too much.

Who got upset... whores and sluts?
I like Renner's sarcastic apology.

I am sorry that this tasteless joke about a fictional character offended anyone.

From Boxoffice.com:
As expected, Avengers: Age of Ultron was a global hit this weekend, racking up $201.2 million in just 55% of the international marketplace and opening at #1 in all 44 territories it premiered. The total is an estimated 44% ahead of the original Avengers film and 24% ahead of Iron Man 3 accounting for currency fluctuation. The top 5 markets were South Korea ($28.2 million), the UK and Ireland ($27.3 million), Russia ($16.2 million), Brazil ($13.1 million), and Australia ($13.1 million).

Age of Ultron will supposedly be getting an extended edition along with an alternate ending when it is released on BD/DVD.

Most bootlegs are captured overseas these days, so it's actually worse to have it released overseas first.
The Avengers: AoU and Iron Man 3 opened on this particular weekend overseas because many of the countries celebrate May Day on May 1st (it's more or less their Labor Day). There's very little benefit to movies this popular opening on a holiday weekend, they will have record breaking openings regardless, but there is a huge benefit in them having a holiday on their second weekend.
There's also issues with scheduling and the fact we pick US release dates years in advance, and can't always get that same weekend in import-restricting countries like South Korea and China. As well as promotional scheduling for the stars of the movie.

I'm not saying this to be flippant, I understand how people rip from a disc, how the hell do bootleggers get a film that's still in cinemas?
I don't know man, the BFI in Southbank sounds like a cool place, and Mark Kermode screens 35mm prints of movies at his cinema. Plus the French have Lea Seydoux and Marion Cotillard . Greece's economy is falling apart, but hey . Harold Bloom says that the French don't value originality, though...
