I don't agree with some of his project choices (like Battleship), but I think he has a solid style, it's not unlike how I would film a movie. (It's not Bay crazy, but solid, colorful, shots) I guess I'd put him in the same category as Favrou, Mangold, the Rat, etc.. they may not bring a strong, unique vision, but they make a good looking, acceptable, studio film that makes money. And earn a big paycheck doing it.

I'm not making fun. I think he's a creep. I tried my hand at making movies, didn't like it, no longer have a desire to pursue it. Asshats like him are part of the reason why.

And let me tell you it SUCKED dealing with that all day. An extra 30-60 sec for every guest with a credit card. Might not seem like much, but I assure, it mounts up; those lines got HUGE.

It's hilarious to read how suddenly jubilant Nikki's updated box office report is now that this might break the OW record.

Battleship is a good movie, for what it tries to do. It was a lot of fun.

Yeah, this isn't going to make $400 million at all.

I'm not exaggerating here, but every single person I know who went to see The Avengers already, is planning on going back AT LEAST once more to see it again, in the next week or two. People who don't see movies twice. I think it'll have pretty decent legs.

Depending on which format I watch it this afternoon, means I'll probably go back to see it. Out here at the Barrywoods 24 you have your choice of a regular 2D, regular 3D, ETX 3D and IMAX 3D. Choices!

This is great news for Marvel Studios. I hope it gives them the cash and resources to really flush out their cinematic universe. It doesn't necessarily need to be all in movies, either. Yeah I want an Adam Warlock movie, but a Runaways show on like AMC or Dr. Strange series on HBO, both connected to the films? Winna winna SHEEN dinna...

We're going to need a quick grammar course in the use of commas.

Friday estimates from BOM:
The Avengers now has the second highest opening day on record and is on track to have the biggest opening weekend ever.
