I ask this every year, but do we really need two sound awards?

In defense of Hugo winning over Tree of Life, it has the best 3D cinematography I've ever seen.

Don't get your cortisone shot before attending The Oscars.

I believe editing is more about creating the sounds. Mixing is, well, mixing.

I kept hoping Cate would smack her in the face in Talented Mr Ripley.

Yep, they seemed totally baked. Good times.

Is there a reason why Bradley Cooper is rocking a pornstache?

I didn't see Hugo, but I am adding it to my netflix queue now. It's cleaning up.

"Hugo."
"No, Hugo."

Billy Crystal is crossing off a joke on his to-do list.

Yeah, but this show has as LEAST two more hours. So that scares the hell out of me.

I understand the differences, I just think one award would suffice. Especially when the same film often wins both awards.

A movie about movies by one of the most respected directors in the business, who never won an Oscar until the 2000's, featuring kids? Yes, it probably will win best picture. And, amazingly, it wouldn't be a bad choice if it did.

As much as people hate 3D, it did it very nicely.

I didn't pick it for best picture but I hope Hugo wins just to torque a lot of you off.

Glad to see the "Hugo" love. I thought "The Artist" was going to sweep tonight. At least there's some form of suspense now.

The Muppets suck, and always have.
