I think that's right.

Most of the talk I've heard of full Uncut versions are not Region Free and lack English Subtitles.

For those of you who were after an Uncut version of the film, Invincible Pictures (who released the DVD/BD here in the U.S) is taking pre-orders for their upcoming Uncut DVD.

I like the packaging. Do you know if they will release this in BD?

I should have seen that one coming.

I'm good with the review copy I got on BD. Can't say I'm eager to watch it again. Not so much for the subject matter, just that it's more boring, graphic eurocrap.

If it comes up here for review, I'll grab it, but otherwise, this seems like a pretty abusive double-dip.

I'll probably buy the Uncut version and never open it. I'm curious about the movie but seems like I'd be better off not watching it at all. At least I can tell people that I own a physical copy of A Serbian Film.

I never saw the movie but from reading about it so much I now imagine it to be like the fucking in The Forbidden Zone. It must be pretty funny.

Sounds like you're setting yourself up for an endless series of bad Abbott and Costello-esque conversations.

Them: "What movie is that?"
You: "It's A Serbian Film."
Them: "That's great, what's it called?"
You: "A Serbian Film."
Them: "I know, you said that but what's the title of the movie?"
You: "A Serbian Film."
...

May have to snag one if it indeed is the UNCUT version. I already have the UK import, which has badass LOSSLESS sound and the U.S. version, which does NOT have lossless sound.

Yup!

I think the only Uncut Blu-Ray that exists is the Swedish Version (which has no Subs)

Re: A Serbian Film (aka Srpski Film) (2010)

Watched this over the weekend and I have come to the conclusion that this film is ridiculous.

It is hard to feel squeamish watching something so stupidly over the top. And that baby scene made the baby in American Sniper look real.

A few funny moments, but wild shifts in tone and children getting raped earn this a 1/5 from me. Take away the child rape and I'd add 1.5 stars
