Sharon Tate reminded me of Julianne Moore

My wife was watching Valley of the Dolls the other night, and I sat down to see what the real Sharon Tate looked like, since I had never seen anything she was in. I was immediately reminded of Julianne Moore, not just in facial looks, but even the scenes were similar to The Hours with Moore taking (or attempting to take) sleeping pills to commit suicide.

Had that madness never happened with Manson, I can see Sharon Tate having a promising film career, because, from what I could see, she could have had the career that Moore had.

But all I could really see when watching Valley of the Dolls was Susan Atkins telling Sharon Tate’s bleeding body that she doesn’t care about the life of Tate’s baby.

Julianne Moore has bigtime acting chops. Sharon Tate, though incredibly beautiful, was a bad actress.

Perhaps in time she would have improved. Unfortunately 10050 Cielo Drive happened.

She reminded me more of Jill St. John than Julianne Moore.

A large-breasted, tan blonde who couldn't act reminded you of a flat-chested, pale redhead who can act? I'm confused.

If Sharon Tate reminds him of Julianne Moore, then I'm curious to know what movie star Buttmunker's wife reminds him of.

About the only way Sharon Tate would reminded me of Julianne Moore is if the Manson Family somehow killed Julianne Moore.

Re: Sharon Tate reminded me of Julianne Moore

Tell me about it! She was the friggin' heir to the Folger Coffee Company! She never had to work! She was only 25, and had all the drugs she wanted! Sharon Tate and Roman were only renting that place for $1,225.00-per-month, it had a panoramic view of L.A., an in-ground swimming pool........but no air conditioning! Cheap millionaires make me sick. There was Sharon Tate, eight-and-a-half months pregnant, sweating her balls off in the heatwave. If they had air conditioners in all the windows, maybe Tex Watson wouldn't have been able to knife is way through the screen.

I digress. Sharon sure did look a lot like Julianne Moore. Don't believe me? Watch Valley of the Dolls (muddle through just to see Sharon's scenes, and put ear plugs in for the rest).
