Iron Giant.

Spoiler:
The whole "you can be whatever you want" speech near the end.

I seriously tear up every single time, and I've watched the movie an almost horrifying number of times. I can't think of another movie that's ever had that sort of emotional impact on me, let alone repeatedly.

No movie gets to me more than the Elephant Man...particularly when Anthony Hopkins takes John Hurt to his home to have tea with his wife. That scene makes me lose it everytime, particularly when Hurt tells her that a beautiful woman has never been so nice to him before.

Ditto for the Sixth Sense scene with Cole, Shawshank ending, and Good Will Hunting scenes, plus...

Signs
Spoiler:
The dinner scene gets me every time, maybe just because the actors did such a good job conveying the emotion.

The end of Godfather III, when Michael's daughter gets shot. No matter what people may say about that movie, that ending was some of the best acting i've seen. Pacino, Garcia and Kay (forget her real name) were all amazing in showing their emotions.
That scene gets me every time.

I just recently watched Magnolia and the scene
Spoiler:
Where Earl Partridge was somewhat confessing his sins. . .talking of regrets, yeah, when the whole movie was in the final moments of its second hour I was really emotional about the whole thing

I also tend to get a bit misty eyed Moulin Rouge. . .

"Where's the robot, Mansley?"
Spoiler:
I think the impending doom of the bomb hitting the town and the realization of the residents is what got to me. And when the Hogarth says goodbye and IG tells him not to follow.

The Abyss
The way Cameron shot this scene made feel like I was there.
Spoiler:
Bud Brigman trying to bring Lindsay back to life after she drowns herself, yelling and screaming at her to fight.

Saving Private Ryan
The opening scene at Omaha Beach. It really made an impact on what sacrafices were made by so many to give me the freedoms I have today.
Spoiler:
Also, when Capt. Miller tells Pvt. Ryan to "earn this".

That gets me every time too. But i'm not ashamed to admit it.

On the other hand one that chokes me up every time and I am ashamed to admit it is the scene near the end of Forest Gump when Jenny is dieing and Forest is telling her about all the beautiful things he's seen (during his run across America and in Vietnam) and it still hits me every time. It really does, I'm choking up now just thinking about it. Jez I'm a puss.

i've got to agree with some of the other posters in regards to the final scene in monsters inc. just beautiful and if that doesn't make you want to have kids then your a cold son of a b*t*h,also a scene at the end of titanic, not any of leo's scenes,it's when the titanic designer checks the time with the clock on the wall,it's heartbreaking, they didn't listen to him about his ship and this is all he can do for her.

Well, I hope I'm not the only one, but the first time I saw IRON GIANT, and the robot sacrifies himself at the end and says "Superman"...that really got to me!

But sometimes I tear up just because a scene or moment is so perfectly filmed...like in E.T. when the boys are racing away on their bikes and get to the roadblock...that moment when the bikes swoop up into the air always chokes me up because it's my idea of a "perfect" movie moment. Only when the cops have the shotguns, of course....!

WOW! Those are the EXACT two that get me everytime as well.

The camera shot in both is incredible:

DPS:
Spoiler:
'O Captain, My Captain, the shot of Robin Williams through the lesgs of one of the students on the desk. The look of sadness in his eyes... oh. Incredible performance.

Braveheart:
Spoiler:
the shot right after the axe comes down and all you see is Wallace's hand falling and dropping the cloth, with nothing but a clear blue sky as the backdrop.

Forrest Gump gets a nod as well.

Have to add:
The Fox and the Hound
Spoiler:
Copper tells Tod that they can't be friends anymore.

Mr. Holland's Opus:
Spoiler:
When the red head tells Mr. Holland that his students are his symphony, his life's work.

good thread.

Dances with Wolves
Spoiler:
When Wind in His Hair stood on the cliff and yell to John Dunbar that he will always be his friend

Abyss
Spoiler:
The sequence when Bud went down the abyss to deactivate the nuclear bomb and knew it was a one way trip

I would guess we all have a scene in a film you hate to admit really got to you, or you feel silly because it did. I have to admit I've seen Star Trek 2 conservatively 150 times, and I still feel like I really lose a friend when Spock dies, even though I know he will be back soon (and I've never watched the end with a dry eye).
I'm sad to admit in ST: Nemesis when Data dies, I got a bit teary eyed. It was also probably due to the fact that will probably be the last ST: TNG movie.

A Perfect World - At the end when the little kids runs back to Costner and gives him a hug.

(HUGE SPOILERS) I am not allowed to cry...

...but I can't help it whenever I see the following:

Jerry Maguire -
when Dorothy tells Cruise of the breakup...and then cue the "Secret Garden"

Empire Strikes Back -
when Leia confesses her love to Han Solo in which Han Solo says "I know"...and then cue John Williams' score

Gladiator -
when Lucilla tells the dying Maximus "Go to them"...and then cue Hans Zimmer/Lisa Gerrard's theme

Cinema Paradiso -
when the older Toto views the clips that Alfredo has left him...then cue Ennio Morricone's dramatic score

The Mission -
when De Niro, before dying, sees Jeremy Irons staring right at him before being shot amidst Ennio Morricone's haunting music

Boogie Nights:

"I'm a ****ing idiot. I'm a ****ing idiot. I'm a ****ing idiot."

A River Runs Through It:

Damned if I don't feel emotional throughout the whole thing.

Lonesome Dove:

The character reel at the end gets me every time, as cliche as it might be. "Hell of a vision."

It doesn't really make me want to have kids, but it is a sweet, touching moment. Beautiful film. Just thinking what it must be like to have the talent to bring something like that to life almost gets me going.

I'm normally a big sissy anyway when it comes to emotional scenes. Here's a few that stand out, but I could go on and on and on:

Titanic
Spoiler:
Does it really need spoilers at this point? (1) Jack and Rose share their first kiss on the bow. (2) Captain Smith goes into the wheelhouse to accept his fate. (3) Andrews does the same in the lounge. (4) Old couple (Mr. & Mrs. Strauss?) comfort each other in bed as the water rises. (5) Reverend leads terrified passengers in prayer as the boat goes ass-up.

Deep Impact
Spoiler:
(1) Doomed astronauts say goodbye to their families. (2) The Hotchners give their baby to Leo & Sarah.

Armageddon
Spoiler:
(1) Bruce Willis gives up his own life to save Earth. (2) Chick goes to his estranged wife's house to see his son. (3) Said wife brings son to see his hero father.

Benji
Spoiler:
I think this was in the first movie, but some sonofabitch kicked Benji!

Lady and the Tramp
Spoiler:
Yes, the romantic dinner behind the Italian restaurant.

It's a Wonderful Life
Spoiler:
The whole damn thing! *sniff*

Heh heh, here's a recent emotional one from my wife:

Willard
Spoiler:
The one with Crispin Glover. A cat runs around the house, trying to get away from the rats. Doesn't make it. My wife was sobbing in the theater.

Honk!
