Dr. DVD

I would get this were it not for the fact that I saw bits of this recently and battle and FX sequences aside, this isn't a very good movie. Lots of 80s cheese and takes itself too seriously. Might get it eventually, but so much better fantasy has come out since this one that it kind of pales.

Is the Warwick Davis commentary missing from the upcoming blu-ray? My recollection is that it was pretty good on the DVD.

From everything I have read, its not on the new bluray, if you have the old dvd it might be worth keeping for that.

I just bought the bluray, the dvd included is just the remastered movie with no extras. So the Warwick Davis commentary is not included, hold on to the old dvd.

I was about to post the same. Lame.

I will say, though, I'm watching the blu-ray now and the transfer is indeed flawless to my eyes. I can't find a speck of dirt and detail is tremendous.

So buy the set, take out the new DVD in the set, shred it and slip in the old DVD in with the bluray. I do that with a lot of the two disc sets that I buy.

I read the first one and was bored to death. It might as well not have been connected to Willow at all. I don't recommend it.

It just came out.Best Buy has it for $14.99 but it is OOS for shipping.

I ordered Willow and Who Framed Roger Rabbit-Blu-ray Disc on 03/12 /13 from Best buy but they still have not ship.Heard something about DVD disc in WFRR being the wrong disc,and they are sending out replacement discs.mother fuckers.hehe

Hearing at the "other" forum that this is OOP or headed that way. Was able to snag one at MovieStop today on lunch break, disappointed that it doesn't contain the commentary by Davis on the bluray, so I'll have to scrap up the DVD copy somewhere.

Given how stingy Disney usually is with live-action back catalog properties, interested parties better snap up Willow right now. Lucasfilm is now controlled by Disney and they won't be licensing Willow to anyone.

Yeah. I just checked Amazon and prices are a little ridiculous, even for used copies. And I just saw one sitting on a clearance endcap at Target a few weeks ago, but I thought it would get cheaper and I had no idea it was going OOP. Should have picked it up.

I'm not sure if I picked it up for $10...but I know I picked it up for less than $15. Good thing, it's one of my favorite movies. Can't wait until my kid is old enough to show him.
