Yeah I own the Halloween triple feature from Canada and I'm happy with the transfers on it so I won't rebuy those movies, but I will be looking into From Dusk Till Dawn. I hope they announce some of the Children of the Corn sequels on blu, I've always been a fan of those.

I think the complaint probably is more that they just took a picture of the DVD release (You can still see the DVD case around the artwork) shrunk it down and photoshopped it onto a blank Blu-Ray case image. It does look really crappy and unprofessional to have on their site.

Ah, your right. Hopefully that was only as a temp or something. That really is shitty.

Edit: Looks like they did go with proper artwork for the actual release.

Haha, yeah, DIVXMAX. They released great versions of 4/5 a couple years back.

The SEs of 4/5 are also available in a double feature that was $5 at Wal-Marts.

Anchor Bay needs to get off their butts and release BDs of 4 and 5 stat! Did anyone listen to the audio commentary of 4 with Ellie Cornell and Danielle Harris. It's funny to listen to because they don't seem to have a clue as to what's going on in the Halloween universe.

Re: Miramax's HALLOWEEN/CHILDREN OF THE CORN/HELLRAISERs coming to Blu via Echo Bridg

So, I have a slightly relevant update. I saw the DVDs of some of these releases at K-mart. There is a Miramax banner on the front and Echo Bridge is on the back. I saw a Children of the Corn collection, jammed on one disc. I also saw the first two Prophecy movies on one disc. They had individual releases, like The Faculty and Dracula 2000. They ranged from $5 - 7.50 on DVD. No sign of the Blu-rays...

I'd be in for Halloween 6, Hellraiser 4 and Equilibrium.

Definitely would pick up Equilibrium if it was in the correct OAR.

I thought the current canadian release was OAR. Plus, it includes 2 commentaries and a featurette.

It's listed as 2:35:1, but this review I read said it's really in 1:78:1

Double-discs? Probably means the features will be minimal,

Most likely, but for 17.49 they still seem like a good deal

Hmm..I wonder if the later Halloween films will have the same transfers that showed up on the Halloween Triple Pack (Canadian Blu-Rays)

I'm not sure if it's worth an upgrade if it's just a touched up same transfer.

8.75 for a new transfer isn't worth it IMO.

I'd like some new extras. :/

Considering they released single through quad DVD releases, I think I'll wait on From Dusk and Hellraiser to see if they do a tri and quad set respectively.

I'm in for Supercop depending on the transfer.

Re: Miramax's HALLOWEEN/CHILDREN OF THE CORN/HELLRAISERs coming to Blu via Echo Bridg

Double feature titles were announced on Blu-ray.com this morning. I'm on my iPad at work, so it's kind of a bitch to copy/paste/quote on this guy.

All I know is that I'm going to have Aaron Jackson personally sign my Blu-ray copy of Children of the Corn V / Children of the Corn 666 double-feat. Boom. Winning.

Re: Miramax's HALLOWEEN/CHILDREN OF THE CORN/HELLRAISERs coming to Blu via Echo Bridg

To my surprise I just picked up a copy of "The Yards" (sticker price 9.99) on Blu-ray over at my local Best buy. Not sure if all best buys are putting them out, I know Best Buy has been known to get certain windows to sell exclusive blu-rays before the rest of the chains are allowed or if it this was simply a mistake but it was quite the pleasant surprise.
