In spite of Bay's less than subtle style I give this one a solid B. I noticed more exposition here than in the theater but it was still a good war flick.

Jeepers Creepers 2...silly and stupid. really cliched. not original like i thought the first was. still will watch JC3 with joyful glee!

Not a traditional heist film. A little stealing, a little revenge, a little hostage situation.

Fatal Attraction...so good. forgot how intense this was. didn't realize it was nominated for 6 Oscars.

I should have seen this years ago. The story was a bit typical but the voice direction and the CGI was quite phenomenal. It's good to know that Zack Snyder didn't half ass this project in order to do Sucker Punch right after.

Our Brand is Crisis
I was disappointed Netflix sent me this movie instead of Knight of Cups but it was pretty good though maybe the ending might be a little far fetched.
Maybe it was based on a true story since some of that stuff you could not make up.
Billy Bob Thornton was hilarious.

David Cronenberg's "The Brood". I was in a bit of an anxious mood that day because of some personal stuff, and while it's a smart, smart film it really left me in a dark place.
Don't get me wrong, -it's a "Criterion" disc, so it looks as good as it's ever going to; being a low-budget Canadian film, Cronenberg seemingly shot it in 50 shades of beige, with a few blood-red highlights.
Actor Art Hindle mentions in one of the supplements that he found the film depressing to work on because of the relentlessly downbeat subject matter. I didn't feel so bad about my feelings after that.

The Brothers Grimsby
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. It had some laughs but is probably more of a drama.
Gangster Squad
This should have been great with the all-star cast. Just wished they could have reinserted the theater shooting into the Blu-ray since it got scrapped when the shooter in CO opened fire during a screening of the Dark Knight Rises.

The Boy (2016)...what a stupid, silly, waste of a movie. Poor Lauren Cohan to pick such a lousy script.

Race
Kind of a generic title for a movie though now it makes sense.
It took awhile to get adjusted to Jason Sudeikis playing a serious dramatic role though it seemed like he was yelling in almost every scene lol.

Firstborn (1984)...saw this in the theater, i believe. remember it being one of the first PG-13 movies. this one always resonated with me being a product of divorce. never experienced anything remotely close, but still powerful. great performances by the whole cast. funny seeing Robert Downey Jr. and Sarah Jessica Parker in early roles. really like this one.

Naked Lunch...didn't like this one at all, unfortunately. just didn't gel with the surreal nature of it all. too bad too as i love Cronenberg and Weller.

Leviathan (1989)...little seen, underrated creature feature. such a blatant rip off of The Thing and Alien, but i love this one. sillier than i remember, but a lot of fun. Shout did a great job with this one.
