First and foremost, Magnolia. I never bought the original DVD because it was not anamorphic. I've been waiting for a very long time, obviously.

Add to that, in no particular order:

Seven
Boogie Nights
Dark City
Friday
A History of Violence
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake)
Running Scared
House Party (no, really)
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle
Pan's Labyrinth
The Notebook

and of course Mr. Jackson's trilogy.

If Im not mistaken New Line is part of the Time Warner family. I dont think New Line has released anything yet but one would think that being part of Time Warner they would release their movies on HD

Hmmm... It is anamorphic. I don't know why I thought it wasn't all this time.

Aside from some of the ones already mentioned (Seven, the New World, Boogie Nights), I'd kill for an HD version of Birth.

- The New World (180 minute version)
- Austin Power films
- Freddy vs. Jason
- Mortal Kombat (with TrueHD or DTS - this 5.1 soundmix rocked)
- Pan's Labyrinth
- Menace II Society (unrated + with some, if not all the extras that were created for the Criterion laserdisc).
- The Long Kiss Goodnight

Pan's Labyrinth
Lord of the Rings
Dark City
Dumb and Dumber

...and I'll go ahead and say The Golden Compass.

Pan's Labyrinth was far and away my favorite film of last year, but I've held off on buying the DVD so far hoping for an HD version.

Can't think of anything else from New Line that I'd ever want to own on any format.

New Line has announced that they will release their movies in both HD formats later this year but they will use the cardboard snapper cases.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.
