But then youd need an LG hd dvd blue ray player to watch them. I dont know about you, but I'm not about to get behind yet another format.

I also get HD-DVDs from Netflix and have not had any problems.

Just picked it up with some certificates for Best Buy. Not happy about it being $40, but then again it's "free" to me from getting triple points when I bought all my BD and HD gear in November. In a perverse way, you could say buying my BDP-S1 helped pay for an HD-DVD. Blasphemy!

My Netflix'd HD-DVDs are about 50% playable since September.
Half of them won't play all the way through.
And whats worse. When I mark it as unplayable and request a replacement they ALWAYS send me the SD version.
I finally went thru the hell of calling Netflix to ask if that is what they are meaning to do, or if it's a website problem. Mind you, the site doesn't SAY that they sent me a HD replacement and I GET a SD. It SAYS they sent me a SD.
Well Netflix CS told me she didn't know if HD discs are supposed to be replaced with HD or SD. She'd never been asked that question before and will "send it up" to her supervisors.
In the meantime she gave me 3 bonus discs. Yay. She said she'd call me when she found out the answer. 2 weeks, no follow up.

I'm actually prob gonna join netflix as well. I just got a 360 HD-dvd player and as you know, when we get into something new and exciting. We tend to let our money fly out of our wallet. Net-flix is going to save me alot of money.

They do seem to be missing some things. For example they don't have Pitch Black HD-DVD at all. No idea about their blu-ray selection as I don't have one.
