Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery (possibly 30 days for members though I've never tried)
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

I looked up Exploitation.TV, but am hesitant at the price without knowing how long the free trial is. I can't find anything that says how long it is. How long is the trial?

Can't wait for this to kickoff! Going for 100, which I haven't hit in a non horror challenge in ages. No pre-planning either; just winging it the entire month.

And it's a helluva time to be a trailer comp junkie -- Trailer Trauma, Kung Fu Trailers Of Fury, and Trailer Trauma 2: Drive-In Monsterama (5/2 street date. ).

Unless things have changed since last October, it's for one month.

I might look into it. I also found a Cult Movie Channel, and Grindhouse Channel for free on Roku.

Trial period on Exploitation.TV is one week. Their plans start at $7 but I won't have details til I sign up in a few hours.

Re: Seventh Annual Drive-In/Exploitation Challenge April 1-30, 2016

If it is just one week, I'll pass then. Lots of other content I can watch. I'm already paying $5 a month for ConTV.

I kicked off the Challenge with a documentary on the Friday the 13th franchise, His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th, that I bought on Amazon Instant Video. Seen it before, but I never tire of watching it. Might watch Crystal Lake Memories, and Never Sleep Again this month too, but haven't decided, given their lengths.

Well, I guess they have changed. Apparently they went the route Shudder did and downgraded the free trial after no longer being new kid on the block.

Another to add to the directors safe list: *William Grefé.

And I know he made predominately b flicks, but not sure if Seijun Suzuki should be on there. Should he?

OK, Exploitation.tv is $10 a month unless you get a whole year then it is $84 ($7 a month) with a week free. So signing up tonight I don't get charged til April 7. I figure a month is worth it. Vinegar Syndrome seems more interesting than Crown International but not enough to permanently add to my collection.

"Mutant Sorority Pictures" is another Roku commercial channel that has a bunch of eligible stuff. Lots of Troma flicks, if you're into that.

Would Purple Rain count for "Film starring Musical Group or Music Star" or is it not eligible since it was somewhat successful?

Words cannot describe my disdain for this movie. I'm a fan of Prince but I swear to anything holy that this movie feels like its about 9 hours long and I cannot stand it.

Grindhouse Channel has a premium ad-free version. They were charging $20/year, but that might have gone up. I've been a subscriber since the October Horror challenge.

Some of the movies are HD, which is nice. You can find a handful of gems in there that makes it worthwhile. But a lot of the movies look like they're from bootleg 9th gen VHS tapes. One of the kung fu movies is from someone sitting in a movie theater holding a camcorder.

They haven't added any new movies since October. They keep promising that more stuff is coming. Who knows when/if that will ever happen.

Well, make sure Jaws 4 also makes you're list. It is also one of the best of the worst.

For today's first viewing of the day, I saw Trollhunter was on Chiller, so I decided to revisit it. I only noticed one problem with the dubbed version. The words at the end weren't translated, so I had no idea what it said.

Pfft, Purple Rain is baby steps. You have to sit through Graffiti Bridge and Under the Cherry Moon to be truly appalled by Prince's all-devouring ego. He makes Trump look like the Buddha by comparison.

Don't tell anyone but I was just gonna loop the Lake Minnetonka scene for two hours and call it a day.

They may be bad movies, but since I enjoy them, and this is the month of celebrating the best of the worst, I broke out my 6 movie Disaster set, and just watched the first movie in the set, Nature Unleashed: Avalanche. I think they may be SyFy style movies.

Would Ice Cube count as musician who didn't become full time actor? Or did he go the way of the Rock, and become a full time actor?

You could check his Wikipedia page. It would list projects so you could see if he's still recording.
