Re: DVD vs On Demand

On demand or digital streaming has basically just replaced renting for me. I still buy the movies i love or have seen on netflix. If I see a series or movie for a really good price for the digital copy I'll do it but usually it's the opposite. Todd and the book of pure Evil for instance is $15 per season on Amazon Instant but i got both seasons on dvd for $8 each. I've also had a few bad experiences with digital releases. I bought Season 1 of the of the original TMNT cartoon on Amazon Instant a few years ago and I have no idea why but it has disappeared 3 times and said it is unavailable for purchase or viewing. Luckily I've been able to get it back in my library every time but it makes me nervous.
