It's been in the works, but we are finally ready to announce the initial features list for the DVDTalk Premium Memberships.

Features

• A Private "Premium Members Only" forum.
• Ability to Join & Create Social Groups
• Avatars
• Panic Button (Directs Browser to a set URL)
• User Photo Albums
• Increased PM limit to 75
• A special "membership icon" appearing next to your name
• Countdowns in signatures
• Advanced Ignore Features

Explanations

A Private "Premium Members Only" forum: Converse with your fellow Premium Members, free from the prying eyes of lurkers and search engines. We will also be holding special contests and deals that are only available to Premium Members.

Social Groups: While everyone can already view social groups, Purchasing a Premium Membership will allow you to join them and create your own.

Avatars: Everyone knows what an avatar is, right? Well, Premium Members get the ability to add them to their account. There is a size limit of 120x120 pixels though.

Panic Button: Premium Members can turn on the "Panic Button" in the UserCP. When their boss is comming, just hit the button and be directed quickly to the URL of your choice (pre-set in the UserCP).

User Photo Albums: You'll be able to create photo albums and share your photos on the forum or social groups.

Increased PM limit to 75: This shouldn't need any explaining!

A special "membership icon" appearing next to your name: We've all seen the little DVD next to the Premium Members' Usernames.

Countdowns in signatures: Count down to the next big event in your signature! *note: if you don't have a signature, they won't work.

Advanced Ignore Features: Ignore threads, forums, and threads started by users on your ignore list.

We plan on rolling out more features as time goes by, but these are the set features for now.

The photo albums thing might be useful to linking to pictures. Seems like a decent set of features to me.
