I first clicked on the movies-dvd area and then clicked on contact us on the top of that page. Mind you, I don't know if this is even the proper place to send the request. If anyone out there still has the email please post. Thanks.

Their reply to my request for the DTS disc:
I am not sure if they will accept your faxed receipt without emailing them first. They might, though! I just don’t know…

Major props to Dan! I sent the email to the address you posted and received email instructions to fax my receipt to Cynthia. Less than 2 weeks later and I'm happily holding the DTS version of the movie!!! THanks again

I sent the fax last Tuesday, and received the discs today ... exactly 1 week later.
Since I had purchased 2 Box sets, and I faxed both receipts, the sent 2 copies of the DTS 1982 version.
Thank you Universal.

Just to update : I fired off the email, got a reply. I faxed them a copy of my order confirmation from last December. Last week a new DVD of Disc 2 (from the original 2-disc set) came in the mail. Prompt and easy. You've got to hand it to Universal; they do know how to correct their mistakes.
Of course I now have the problem of what to do with the new disc. As I understand it, there's still exclusive content on the box set's disc 2 and there's really no room for the extra disc unless I get rid of the CD soundtrack. I might just download a cover and keep the replacement in the Amray case for easy access to the only version of the movie I ever want to see again.

You might want to try this cover:

I recently tried to upload this cover onto DVD Cover Art, but it was rejected as it was deemed to be too similar to the original (a custom cover by JoeyOHHHH) with few changes. I emailed them to discuss the cover further, and I thought an agreement had been reached where they were going to post it after all, but I have not yet seen it on the site.

I've got the gift set and never saw much of a reason to get the DTS Theatrical disc...for one since I'll more or less just watch the 2002 version...and the DD on the Theatrical is just fine imo...
