Didn't see the standard version, but did briefly check out the 30th Anniversary version with the see-through cover. Per DVDCompare, the 30th Anniversary release has completely different content: http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2375 . But it's also possible more than 2 version of the DVD exist. If you haven't already bought, the back cover should explain what's what.

Legacy/Sentinel/Sssss is a single single sided disc.

Just opened mine to see and it was a 2 disc set. Ssssss on a disc by it's self. And Legacy/Sentinel both on the same side of another disc (both discs had art on them)

HA! My copy they are on one disc, no art, just black logos...I picked it up in the Halloween shipment for $3... The $1.88 must be a different release...

I'm somewhat envious of you guys. The store here didn't get any $1.88/$2.88 titles - or they actually sold them all on Thanksgiving & BF (I didn't venture out until Saturday). All they had out were the same old $3/$5 DVD/BR and the TV sets. At least they sold about half of the TV sets they had so now it's down to 2.5 full waterfall displays!

Seen a new batch of TV at a big lots in hermiston, oregon while traveling over the weekend.

Without A Trace ( not sure of the season (s) )
House (not sure of the seasons (s) )

All were $8 and none were cut outs or slashed barcodes.

I picked up each of the The Office. They had about 10 copies
give or take of each. Had a $5 off $15 coupon to use which was nice.

Is this the first time Big Lots has had seasons of The Office?
Or have they had other seasons? Only remember them having
season 1 a few years back for $3 or $5.

There's still a significant # of the BF $1.88 dvd/$2.88 blu at the stores here. Apparantly they didn't choose very popular titles..............

^*Still* none of those titles here. They *did* get 3 seasons of The Office (S3, S4, & S5) and a couple of House (don't know which) but that's the only "new" stuff to hit the floor here since those kids DVDs with the toys attached (Thomas the Tank and a few others).

Lois & Clark Season 2 (cut out) finally showed up. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was the one (L&C) hold out in the Warner $3 box sets a few years back. 1,3, & 4 were there, bought S 2 @ second spin.

Only other new thing I noticed was a bunch of Thomas the Train sets.

Yesterday I saw Hats Off to Dr. Seuss Collector's Edition for $7. I would have grabbed it if it was the blu-ray set.

Ooh, me too! Had an itch for Seuss maybe 6 months ago, when the BD set went on my wants list. From the reviews I recall, some of the DVD's were blatantly unrestored, which didn't leave much choice. Still, a really good price for 5 DVD's.

Last Monday I found a copy of Two-Lane Blacktop (Criterion) on Blu-Ray for $5.

I read on other forums that it's be around stores randomly since October. I guess I got lucky?

Longwood FL found some $8 TV Seasons I haven't seen listed. In addition to the Office and House mentioned by others saw all 4 seasons of Lois and Clark, Season 1 of the Closer Season 3 and 5 of La Femme Nikita(Peta Wilson) and Season 1, 2 and 3 of Nikita (Maggie Q).

Most of you are probably younger than I, but other then Breaking Bad, the last TV series that interested me were Ally McBeal & Sports Night (which I didn't discover until Comedy Central picked up the re-runs). I'd buy (at a reasonable price) OFFICIAL issues of Wonder Years, Remember Wenn & Colonel March Of Scotland Yard. & if Thriller ever dropped to $30 or less, I'd seriously consider it. Would also like to get a COMPLETE Ida Lupino 5 Star Theater set.
