Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

I haven't been able to find the Blacula double feature either. I was really hoping too find it so I could get rid of my Blacula single release and finally get Scream Blacula Scream.

Niether of which is worth 6.99. Bloodline is a Dimension Films hatchet job and has been disowned by its Director. Hellseeker is one of the most boring horror movies I've ever seen.

They are worth $6.99, not close to the first 3 but still solid films IMO....

That's why I don't order from them. It typically takes 3 weeks for me to get my order.

They had been doing much better for me lately... getting stuff in 3-4 days using the free shipping. I can't stand waiting 2 weeks.

Question SethDLH.

Did your "Blacula" come with an insert/booklet?

Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

As of Tuesday of this week - the Walmart on 301S inbetween Annapolis and Washington - There was a bunch of these deals. I searched for a bit to find the LAST Blacula\Scream Double feature, and I actually squealed when I picked it up. They had a mess of Blackenstein, and a few of the jaws, etc.

Even better, back in the main aisle there's a $5 general cardboard stand. (Much better then the bins!) and I missed it twice, but did manage to find 3 of the MGM Midnight amicus The Land That Time Forgot/The People That Time Forgot (1975) that is part of the 2 for $10 Deep Discount deal. I also grabbed it. I was going to do that one at DDD with the newest print of "The Night Stalker" but ah well. I have the old Anchor bay print, so I am happy enough.

What a great find! This plus the many $5-$7 deals at Amazon and I have been filling in a bucnh of holes in the collection! Every year I say 'This is the year I am going to get 'x' title' and this year I got about 60% of them. Next year - some of the Kinos, Mad Monster Party...

Didn't see it mentioned but I grabbed the newer Coppola's Dracula Remaster 2 disc at Target for $5.

Target's site says in store only, I didn't see it in any ads.

Agreed. The Halloween Sales all around are nowhere near last year's sales.

A plus for everyone so far is getting Happy Birthday To Me a week early and for $5 at WM.

I'm thinking about picking up Dawn + Day of The Dead (Blu-Ray) at BB for $12.99 a piece though. Been wanting those for a while.

Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

Just an FYI - Walmart in Easton Md was a bust as far as the $5 finds are concerned. They only had a few of them - Hellraiser, jaws items and Vault\Crypt DF. Very little, no $5 general bin. The one I was in last week was a much better haul.

the gorehouse greats box set that has been showing up at walmarts is a nice find for $5, 12 60s and 70s b-horror movies on 3 flippers with 2 movies on each side. some walmarts have been putting these up with the regular dvds, not in the $5 bin

If someone would pick one up for me, I'd PayPal them the money. I don't have a membership.

I'm surprised it took so long for them to drop the price on the set. It was at $30 for eons.

Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

This a YMMV but I just bought the Ringu Anthology for $4 and I see it listed as $33 in Amazon so I guess it's a good thing. Other interesting finds at Wal-Mart include Halloween 4/5 Divimax Special Edition pack for $5, which is great, I assume because Amazon has them listed for $10.99 each.
