Question about BB Madden Coupon

Managed to get me hands on a few of these 20% coupons at my local best buy. Didn't want to use it right away, was going to use it on Tuesday, but noticed when I got home the the coupon expired on 3/6/04. Seems odd since the coupon book came out about a month ago.

Anybody been able to use these regardless of the expiration date?

Just wondering If I'm gonna get hassled tommorow.

Thanks,
Bill

I've used them twice, so far no one has hassled me about it. Most of them understand that the coupon books have only been out for a few weeks.

I haven't used the coupon I got yet. But I plan on bringing the actual book it came in, just in case they do hassle me. An employee I talked to when I first got it said they just got them in a couple weeks ago and they shouldn't give cause any problems.

I've had mixed results with these coupons. I have two Best Buys near me. At one of the stores the manager wasnt going to honor the coupon because he said it had already expired. He then told me he would give me 10% off. After a little arguing he relented and gave me the 20%. I went back to the same store the next day and the cashier gave me the 20% off without hesitation. At the other store the cashier was willing to give me the 20% off but she couldnt get the register to accept the coupon. A manager came over and said that the register would not accept the coupon because it was expired. After arguing for a few minutes I left my purchases on the counter and walked out. I went back to that store a few days later and they accepted the coupon no questiosn asked.

That's so typical of BB culture.

Culture is way too complementary. I'd call it the BBY process, and their motto is to take every chance they get to dick over the customer.

On the bright side, it means that those of us who believe that what's good for the goose is good for the gander can have no moral qualms about taking every chance we get to dick over BBY.
