Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Still, I will spend money on that back to school sale, especially Tiny Titans. Young Justice is great (not sure if that's the complete run but if so, great), I have fond memories of Ramos on Impulse, and the pre-Flashpoint Lemire Superboy was one of the better series at the time (along with Batgirl). Surprised no actual Teen Titans, and that they went new 52 with Superboy.

Probably not much of a deal, but you can get the 2015 Valiant Universe Handbook free as a PDF here:

I need to buy Ragnarok 2-4 to squeeze in a few more issues for the August fantasy challenge.

Tell me about it, I bought the complete Young Justice (1998), Impulse (Ramos is a great artist), and Superboy series... on the fence about Young Justice (2011) but if it's just adaptations of the cartoon outside continuity I'm not as motivated.

Lack of Teen Titans is odd but DC just had a lot of Teen Titans on sale with the Cyborg event sale and the post Convergence New 52 sale.

The new Young Justice comics weren't adaptations of the cartoon. It was set in the universe of the show, written by people who wrote for the show.

I've heard good things.

Plus the show was awesome, and killed too soon. I've been waiting for those to go on sale as well.

Did anyone happen to get a giftable copy of the humble D&D bundle? Thought I had another day and would love to buy it.

The new weekly (?) Comixology Submit code, DAY takes 50% off the Dayglow series - https://www.comixology.com/Get-50-Of...-DAY/list/8046

Comixology podcast codes are for Delcourt titles:
Iron Squad #1: Red Commando 1/2 is free with SQUADPOD - https://www.comixology.com/Iron-Squa...l-comic/252101
Prima Coma is 50% off with PRIMAPOD - https://www.comixology.com/Come-Prim...l-comic/251895

Apparently at Bleeding Cool you can read many Dynamite comic issues (usually #1s) for free, which could be helpful in considering Dynamite's frequent bundles:http://www.bleedingcool.com/?s=free+on+bleeding+cool

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I'm back from another great Royal Caribbean experience. Thanks to everyone on all the sites I visit for the well wishes and for posting deals while I was gone. Forgive me if I forgot anyone but special props go out to Hero, Brandon191, keithly, socnsum1, Alan, Derek G, undeadcow, Geddes17, Rob Allen, Andanzas, ATDrake, Bob_Bobbson, user941, starman9000, and more Undeadcow. Now that I know I'm not needed, I'm retiring to live on a different cruise ship every week or three. Just have to hit that lottery first...

Lots of good sales while I was gone, several still active. I'm partially ashamed to admit that I did buy the wifi package for the final four days of the cruise. In my defense, they offered a coupon, and me being me...

New freebie from the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.

New Free Comic Book Day book.

Weekend sale from Dark Horse should be up soon; I think they usually go live at noon, right?

Also, Groupees is having a Valiant bundle offered. It has some books shared with the Humble Valiant Bundle, but there's some new stuff there as well.

This looks like a nice bundle but I've personally got most from HB and Comixology sales. I'm hoping we see another Valiant or Dynamite comic bundle from Humble Bundle soon.

Brubaker & Phillips sale is awesome. Had most of it already but got the remaining criminal trades I hadn't picked up yet. Welcome back Trevor. Everyone did a great job picking up the slack.

Again, annoyingly I can't post a link, but Rumble #1 is available for free on both Comixology and the Image comics website for a limited time.

So I picked up the new Groupees Valiant bundle and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to download the entire bundle at once instead of having to download each item separately?

I picked up the bundle. Can't say if the comics are good, but I did read the book Fevre Dream and it was excellent.

I'll probably end up buying the bundle no matter what you reply, but if you happen to read any of them before the sale ends next week please let us know what you think.

Have fun!
I ended up reading maybe two singles worth out of the 100+ I pre-loaded. For the best I guess, means I enjoyed the cruise.

Don't buy Royal Caribbean stock anyone. I cut into their profits big time.

Have fun, I just got back from a cruise after getting cleaned out on blackjack and bloated on iffy food (Carnival's food was hit/miss)... have a great time! Best part was hanging out on the top of the ship.
Where'd you go? I've only done Bermuda and Bahamas so far, twice each; but think I want to take each cruise there is. Thinking Mediterranean next.

I went to Cancun, Mexico on a cheaper 4 day cruise. Living in Texas many of the cruises bee line to Mexico. The cruise was fun but Mexico itself is such a tourist trap.

I had been holding off to buy the last 10 or so Gotham Central issues I needed in the larger TPBs, but maybe I'll just fold and buy them digitally.
