Review Wanted: Five Deadly Venoms

DVD Talk Legend
The transfer is really bad, though it is better than some bootleg tapes of it that I've seen. I bought it because I didn't have it on tape (bootleg or otherwise).

I rec'd the Wilshire/Telefilms version (just released) instead of the Steeplechase release.
The video quality and it is lbx SUCKS BIG TIME!! Makes Master Killer look mint. You would think the "black bars" would be clean; but they are pretty messed up as well.
I do have some bad transfers but this is by far the worst. The dubbing is OK.
The best way I can describe the quality is someone using a generic video tape, taping at EP/SLP mode off of a TV station that doesn't come in quite well.... then playing it back and turning the sharpeness level on the TV up to compensate for the deficiencies of said videotape.
It is watchable; but if you get this movie don't expect a bug's life or even highlander THX.
