This is one of my favorite Jet Li movies. I have the HK version on videotape but can't wait to get my pre-order on 6/20/00. According dvdexpress.com, it is english dubbed in DD/5.1 and 1.85:1 widescreen. If you like Once Upon A Time in China, this movie is in the same league and in my opionion better. It is directed the Master director Yuen Woo Ping (Matrix and Iron Monkey [my favorite martial arts movie as you can tell by my username]). This a must have movie for Jet Li fans and martial arts movie fans.

From what I read from another site. Tai Chi Master will be rerelease in HK in the first week of May(film was between pressings)along with Fong Sai Yuk I & II(which is OOP right now). I only wish Buena Vista(Disney http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/mad.gif )would release the film with original dialogue and soundtrack like the recent release of Gen-X Cops.

That's great to hear. However, I prefer the Disney version b/c it's in DD 5.1 and most of all b/c it's english dubbed so I don't have to read the subtitles since I am not chinese. Sometimes you miss some of the action and facial expression when you're busy trying to read what they're saying.
