Someone asked about them last March, and I have read that thread, but I was hoping to get a more up-to-date review on this place: http://crazyeddie.store.com/
I am considering purchasing a Pioneer SD-532-HD5 53" Widescreen TV through them as their price cannot be beat (btw, as an aside...would love your opinions on this TV. Anything better in this price range?).
Has anyone purchased from them lately? Are they reputable/sell only new goods(not refurbished)/etc.??
Any opinions on shipping such an expensive/large item this way? Is the item treated more delicately if purchased from a local Bestbuy or Circuit City for example?
Thank you in advance...

Check www.audiosurvey.com They have a few good ratings there. I purchased a Toshiba SD-6200 from them in Sept. and was very happy with the price and shipping. Recommended from my experience with them.

I considered them but just couldn't do it because of little hints that I got that things might not work out real good. And their shipping cost to the west coast was huge! And they could not promise me a manufacturer's warranty since they were not authorized (either at all, or to sell to another location). I ended up buying a 510HD from 4electronicwarehouse.com for a better price. I'm not sure if they carry the non-Elites though. Doesn't Best Buy carry them? Have you tried price matching? Even though my set shipped out only from the midwest, the box took a real beating but the set was ok. Local purchase would have been preferable, but the cost would have been at least $1000 more.
I have the 510HD and love it. The SD-532-HD5 always looks good to me too when I see it in showrooms. It stands out from the other brands in the smooth, clarity of its picture. If you use a progressive DVD player, it's a good choice.
