... with Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars!

That song is going to be huge, it's like Michael Jackson fronting Morris Day and the Time.

It's extremely catchy but it's going to get over-played to death.

Maybe Jaime Foxx stops by since he is in that new Annie movie with Diaz.

Bruno was awesome, the dong ripping monkey skit had me rolling and the rest ranged from mediocre to shitty.

Ten minutes after watching I'd forgotten Diaz even hosted. Lot of junk but I liked the monkey skit & Merkel.

Would've been ballsy to see them do an actual Cosby show parody but a couple lines thrown into WU is probably the last we'll hear of it.

I didn't realize that saying the "N-word" is the equivalent to that of drugging and raping numerous women. Che's whole stance on Cosby has been bullshit ever since his rant on Twitter earlier this week.

At first, I just wanted Jost fired. Now I want Jost and Che both fired.

What was his rant, and what's so bullshit about it?

This episode sucked. Three laughs, tops. First song was alright, but what was up with that guy yelling like that during the second song? It got annoying immediately and stayed that way.

He posted tweets earlier in the week such as:

sooo we cant have the cosby show no more, but columbus day & thanksgiving is still cool?

maybe i shouldnt say this cause im sure none of u can relate. but i heard about this cosby thing years ago. & i still watched the cosby show

1. Comparing The Cosby Show to (stupid) national holidays is a stupid analogy, just as stupid as his analogy comparing a rapist to a racist.
2. Cosby being a rapist, but more importantly, a piece of shit has been well known in Hollywood for decades. Hell, we've had a thread on it on this very forum going for an entire decade now.

While I don't agree with the pulling of reruns during scenarios like these due to the actions of a single individual, I get the reasoning why (advertisers). However, if he's defending Cosby, should he defend Stephen Collins and the pulling of 7th Heaven reruns? Or does that not count as Collins raped children or 7th Heaven is just a shitty show (which I'd make the same comment about The Cosby Show too).

I just....don't like Taran Killam.

"Bill Cosby, why don't YOU pull your damn pants up." was the sole redeeming moment of the show. Loved that line.

Yes.

Though I also liked the monkey sketch. You really can't go wrong with a monkey ripping a guy's dick off.

Merkel bit on WU was great along with the Manson one.

Being a black man, "7th Heaven" probably wasn't a big part of Michael Che's childhood the way "The Cosby Show" was, which is why he said he's conflicted: "I don't know Bill Cosby, but Cliff Huxtable practically raised me."

Do you not see the difference, and why Che might have feelings about one but not the other?

But sure, anyone whose opinions you don't like should be fired.

That's the way these threads go. Every episode of SNL is the worst ever, without a single laugh. Except for all the parts that people liked once they have a chance to think about it, then the show turns out to have several funny sketches.

McKinnon always kills it as Merkel, or frankly any other character she does on Weekend Update. Baby Boss was good, but not the best one they've done. I like Beck Bennett, though. The monkey trainer was great, and I was surprised the lemur behaved as well as it did.

I wasn't a fan of the high school play sketch or the poetry sketch.

End of January is a long time to wait for Ronson's album.

The Annie skit featuring Black Butch lady was so awful. She's one of the worst additions to the cast that I can remember.

Maybe it is just me, but I think the first musical number would have been a great open to the show (since the song references Saturday night)

In fact - I'd love to see the musical guests get an extra song - rather than a skit, then 4 minutes of commercials, then a short shot of them setting up for the next skit, then more commercials.

FAN was the source of the only laughs on the show, but he had several. The Bill, the play audience member, the animal show host. All brought some funny. Outside of him the rest of the show was dreck. Diaz was useless. Baby Boss might have been funny if we hadn't seen this exact same sketch five times already. Decent music for a change.

Whenever Leslie Jones appears she seems like she always gets instant laughs.

It seems like the cast couldn't wait for the Thanksgiving holidays and mailed it in.

The Charles Manson bit had the potential to be hilarious but fell flat.

Are the Kyle Mooney shorts suppose to spoof some bad teen cable access show lol?

She's still pretty rough in sketches, but I love her when she's on Weekend Update. She seems like kind of a loose cannon who's willing to say whatever comes to mind if it'll get a laugh.

She was a writer previously. If she can get more comfortable on camera I think she could be a breakout down the line.

For years Kenan had to play female characters and now they finally have a black female cast member and she's more manly than him.

That's Mystikal he's a rapper that used be on Master P's No Limit Records and that has always been his style of rapping, had a couple hits in the late 90s/early 00s . I swear I hate coming into the SNL threads on this forum some of the most ignorant and racist crap is spewed at least once in everyone of these SNL threads.
