So I've been playing for a while now and I can't see the reason why Janitors are a part of the game. I keep hiring them, yet when I do a Tidiness ping almost all of my trash cans need to be emptied. I have a fairly large zoo and if the game developers think that we should be manually going to each and every trash can to empty it.... well that'd just be a fail, because I would have to dedicate my entire game play to emptying the trash cans, seeing as they turn yellow about 15 seconds after you empty them... I even added a new exibit and within 5 seconds all 4 trash cans were yellow.

I have also done the research for Self Cleaning Exhibits, yet it seems that I still need to go in and remove each and every.... dropping.. again, what's the point?


Moving on to Breeding. I have done the breeding tutorial twice (I had to go back to make sure I was doing everything right) yet my animals aren't breeding. I currently have two exhibits that I'm trying to breed (elephants and antelopes). I have them both in a Large exhibit, they are happy, they are over level 6 (actually, I think by now they are all level 15) and I have a level 3 breeding expert assigned to each exhibit. I also have all 3 tiers of breeding researched at the main gate... I've been playing for a couple of hours now and neither of my species has had a baby...

Is my game just messed up or am I missing something?


EDIT: Shortly after posting this my Hippos (who were recently added to my zoo and do not have a breeder) had a baby.. I am so lost.

Not sure what's going on. I have plenty of hired help and rarely have to clean up the cages. Sorry I haven't bred yet
