From the creators of Kinectanimals and Zoo Tycoon comes now my most anticipated game of 2015.
Seriously. I'm a sucker for theme park simulation games. Who/where can I start throwing my money at?

Looks cool, but I wonder how much actual "sim" there will be in the game. Because it looks like it could be kind of shallow, where you are really just building to get the highest "scream-factor", but you don't need to worry about anything with the actual business side of running a park.

I did. I'm assuming just like Sim City, a lot of the people that are playing a sim, care about... you know, the simulation part. I guess you don't though.

Sim City 4 was the last great Sim City game.

I actually bought RCT3 during one of the last Steam sales for $5. I've been meaning to sit down and play it one of these days.

I loved RCT back in the late 90s. Played the shit out of it for a while.
I'll at least rent this. Looks like it could be fun, though in all honesty it's much more fun to murder innocent park-goers than dedicated ride-testers.

If you watch the trailer, you can play as various characters, and one of those is playing it straight. I don't get the complaining about variety. But I'm just going by the trailer, maybe it will be lackluster, but got to admit, the trailer looked fun.

I wish they'd bring out a new version of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, which was by far the coolest theme park sim of all time, because it had dinosaurs. I'd make a really well designed, popular park, then I'd delete the helipad so no one could escape and delete all the electric fences and shoot the dinosaurs with uppers and they'd go on a rampage. Seriously, best sim ever. I still have my Xbox disc since it's backwards compatible on the 360.

... guess not. Maybe eBay? Nope, not a chance in hell.
Well, uh, maybe GOG will get it one day.

This looks like a mix between a really basic RCT and PAIN. So it looks like it'll be fun in 10 minutes sessions.
And I really hope RollerCoaster Tycoon World turns out good.

"Action game"... Pass. Sounds like this won't be even a little bit of a sim game.

I like Roller Coaster Tycoon, but Theme Hospital was always my favorite sim game. It had fictional diseases that were pretty funny, like a person with a bloated head and the cure would be to pop it like a balloon and reinflate it to normal size.

I think this game still looks like fun, but it might be the sort of fun that wears off quickly with too little to do. Like PAIN.
I hope there's more RCT-like micromanagement as well.
