What movie do you think has the tackiest or kitschest setup?

..of course that movie would come from the 70s or 80s. It could be anything from the fashion, the table or rug that was used in that said film. Whatever that was a sight for sore eyes for you. It doesn't have to be a low budget film either..in fact the bigger the budget, the better.

For me,I'm gonna go with: Heather (1989), some of the clothes or fashion used in that film just looked so fugly to me.

I haven't seen it but that's the 1980s, no? I'm sure that was kind of common, accidentally. That era doesn't age well at times.

The big hair styles in Working Girl are pretty distracting.

Blaxploitation was pretty egregious in this department. I couldn't find an appropriate image from UPTOWN SATURDAY NIGHT, but this one from THE MACK will do:

Or how about Bernie Casey in HIT MAN:

Heathers came out when I was in high school. The outfits were pretty accurate for the time.

I know what you mean, but just FYI, the phrase "a sight for sore eyes" generally means something you are glad to see - because if your eyes are sore, a good sight may help them get better.

An obvious recent example that comes to mind is American Hustle, but I'm not sure it counts since it was intentional.
