I am trying to determine if I want to wait until this comes out so I can binge play it, or if I want to go episodic. Might be better to go episodic since there is a shit ton of stuff coming out for Xbox One next year.

Would be awesome if this had some sort of cross-gen promotion across platforms (PS3 to PS4 or 360 to XB1). I'd totally play it twice and make different choices.

I think I'll wait 'til it's all out so I can play the season in one shot like I did with Season One.

I'm surprised they haven't announced this for next gen consoles... yet.

As for me, i liked playing them episode by episode so i'll probably do the same here. Especially since I can't wait and like discussing the choices with my friends right away.

Hell-to-the-yes!

The first season was in my top 20 of all-time. I'm down day one for every episode.

Decisions from the first season affect the second season, so the need to have it all on one platform to read the save games. Like Mass Effect.

Well they can easily randomize or let people pre-choose options when starting the new game. Like Mass Effect. You can even skip to the later episodes in Season 1 and have it pick options for you, which I had to do when my saved game got messed up. Not really a deal breaker at all.

I was wondering about that. Although I'm sure it'll have a minor effect on Season 2 beyond a throwaway line here or there.

Re: The Walking Dead: Season Two (Telltale Games)

Played the first season on my laptop. No reason to have this next gen unless that's all you have, but I would totally play the first season again if it was on Xbox One. I love TellTale because I don't need a gaming pc to play their games.

I still haven't played 400 Days, so I have some catching up to do.

Re: The Walking Dead: Season Two (Telltale Games)

Well it's safe to say that I'm ready for season two now. Earlier this year I played episodes 1-3 and for some reason I didn't continue, got distracted maybe, I'm not sure. I loved it a great deal though. Last night I finally went back to it last night however to get ready for the new season so I can actually play the new season as it's released.

So yeah, I downloaded the DLC as well so I played through episode 4, 5, and 400 days all last night before bed. What an unbelievable and moving experience that was! I can't wait for the new season to begin.

On which platform? I just checked xbox arcade like 2 minutes ago to start downloading and didn't see it yet. I don't understand why this seems like the only game that takes all day to finally show up where as most games are available in the morning of their release?

They apparently decided to launch it today on PSN as well. It's up and ready to be bought and download!

Re: The Walking Dead: Season Two (Telltale Games)

According to TellTale, the season pass will be released shortly, at least for the PS3. If you want to save yourself $5 you should hold off on buying Episode 1 individually. I got burned paying an extra $5 with the Wolf Among Us.

Re: The Walking Dead: Season Two (Telltale Games)

Finished Episode 1 in about an hour and a half. Not a bad start to the season, with a few pretty tough moments. My choices:

Spoiler:

Helped Christa
Killed the dog
Gave the guy water
Accepted Nick's apology
Went with Nick

The dog biting you was a big shock to me, and even though it attacked me I felt bad killing it. And those stitches.... yikes that was hard to do, especially since it makes you run through 4 times. Ouch!

Well, the awesomeness continues. Solid, very solid, and harrowing first episode.
