Survivor: Blood vs. Water -- "My Brother's Keeper" -- 11/13/2013
"My Brother's Keeper" - It's double the drama as castaways endure two tribal councils in one episode. Meanwhile, castaways wonder if Vytas will exact revenge for his brother's blindside and one castaway attempts to change history in a challenge that's tough to swallow, on SURVIVOR: BLOOD vs. WATER, Wednesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

And that's pretty dumb of her, unless she didn't know Katie was going to vote Monica. If they are hoping to convince them to vote Monica or split on Monica... Tina and Katie vote Monica on a split vote Monica is gone. Of course she could have known for sure that she was getting all 7 votes.

Monica tweeted that they edited out the cow eyeball eating round of the challenge. Vytas then tweeted that he won the intestine round but lost on the eyeball round that was not shown.
Maybe it was too gross to air?

Wow, Tina got really annoying really fast in the last couple of shows. I was waiting for her daughter to tell her to shut the hell up during that sword challenge.

No kidding... a challenge that requires so much concentration and Tina is yammering on nonstop. That sort of thing might be okay in a purely physical challenge but not here.
Tina just played horribly all around this episode. She was terrible at Tribal... she was basically trying two conflicting plays at the same time, trying to convince them she might have the idol AND trying to play the "Monica's on the outs" card. It doesn't work because anyone planning on playing an idol would go for the blindside in that situation, especially with your only other ally holding immunity. By aggressively going for Monica like that she just made herself look desperate.
And her spiel at the start of the show about Tyson losing 5 jury votes didn't make any sense, since only 4 players didn't vote Aras.
Meanwhile, Vytas seemed slimier than ever. Definitely a 'Night of the Hunter' vibe from that guy.

I was glad they didn't switch to Monica. Yes, she is a little bit of a lose cannon with her mouth, but it only made sense to get rid of Tina. With RI having three people you want out to compete against each other guarantees that one of them leaves. Having Monica go to RI could have kept Vytas and Aras alive for another week.

I was just thinking, it's a little early, but who wins the 100K fan vote? I guess I'm just thinking if the masses are so in love with Rupert to give it to him for 10 minutes of air time?
It doesn't seem like there's a ton of slam dunk America must love this person characters. Was Hayden popular on Big Brother? He might have a shot if he sticks around to at least the least the 4th-5th place range. Maybe Aras if he sticks around on Redemption for a while?

I noticed that Vytas was spitting up more blood and fluid than one would expect to find in a larvae so they must have edited the two rounds together.

My guess is that Tyson has a strong shot b/c he's entertaining. He has always been a polarizing player though. Then again it's too early to tell. Who would have figured Brenda coming within a percentage point of winning at this time last year? I'm a Brenda fan, and even I didn't think she had a prayer.

I'm thinking Gervais. He's becoming more likable as the season goes on (despite his over-celebrating earlier this season).

I hope Tyson wins the fan vote. He's been fun to watch this season. I couldn't stand him in the past, but am loving him this season.
