So I got to thinking, if this whole season is the 4 days during the wedding weekend, will we get to see the bar, or any of the old sets again?

In flashbacks and flashforwards most likely.

Plenty of the bar and the apartment in this episode.

Funny stuff tonight. Mandy Patakin being a call all old people can hear, the Princess Bride story, the ring bear/bearer running gag, references to Robin and anal. Great stuff.

Damn. Lily's closing monologue/speech to Ted really got me in the feels.

Am I crazy or was the Mother not in this at all?

The only thing I found funny this episode was Barney twice thinking he was gonna get some anal from Robin only to be mistaken. A problem NPH doesn't have in real life.

I really can't imagine Robin not giving up the butt.

Ring bear is pretty good. I liked Marshall's take on The Princess Bride.

It's only funny when they unrealistically make fun of Vikings fans...leave the Packers fans out of it.

I also am already missing the bar and apartment. Yeah there were a few scenes in them this week, but short and only with a couple characters.

I am breathlessly waiting the reveal of the Ring Bear... because that was an in-joke at my wedding too. Can't wait to see how they do it.

Yeah but he didn't actually do an Andre the Giant voice, which is surprising because he did one perfectly when hosting SNL.

Re: How I Met Your Mother - "Last Time in New York" - 9/30/13

I've decided to rewatch the eight season on Netflix, to attempt to pick up on some of the more subtle elements they've sprinkled throughout.

Ted, in the initial episode of the season, has a bandage wrapped on his, I believe, right hand. So something's coming.

Also, Barney mentions riding a bear down the aisle, so...
