We're the Millers (2013) (D: Thurber; S: Sudeikis, Aniston, Helms, Roberts, Offerman)
David Burke (Jason Sudeikis) is a small-time pot dealer whose clientele includes chefs and soccer moms, but some bad luck leaves him high and dry after some gutter punks steal his stash and his cash, leaving him in huge debt to his supplier, Brad (Ed Helms). In order to wipe the slate clean David must now become a big-time drug smuggler by enlisting cynical stripper Rose (Jennifer Aniston), wannabe customer Kenny (Will Poulter), and the tatted-and-pierced streetwise teen Casey (Emma Roberts) to be his fake family and smuggle some drugs from Mexico in a big shiny RV. Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball) directs We're the Millers, and Warner Bros. sends the film to theaters later this summer on August 9th.

Yay more teasing from Aniston. I love strippers who don't strip

I think it looks funny. Like this summer's version of The Hangover.

As Solid Snake mentioned, the red band is better.
The director of Dodgeball? The writers of Sex Drive? Sudeikis? I'm there. It can't be worse than Warner and New Line's other comedy offerings this year.

Ok, let's get this straight. I'd watch it on a cable pay channel but no way in hell am I laying down the scrilla to see this in theaters. Holla.

That looks really funny. Sudeikis is the man. When will Aniston just break down and get naked?

Sudeikis and a half-naked Aniston, I'm in.
Looks pretty funny.

Saw the red-band when we saw Hangover Part III. The wife and I laughed more at the trailer than we did the movie. We'll definitely see this one.

They've been advertising this a lot, hadn't seen the Red Band, a bit more graphic than I expected. Sort of surprised they let "big black cock" in the regular version. Dunno why they cut the "son" unzipping his pants in the green.
I think it looks funny. Sudeikis does a great Bane.
I'm glad Aniston is sexing it up with Horrible Bosses and this, but why couldn't she start that a decade ago. She looks great now but you know it won't last too much longer at this point.

Re: We're the Millers (2013) (D: Thurber; S: Sudeikis, Aniston, Helms, Roberts, Offer
So I just saw an early sneak peak of We're the Millers before it opens wide on Wednesday. I had medium expectations going into it. The trailers made me chuckle, but honestly it wasn't anything that made me go "I have got to see that in theaters". I don't know if it was the crowd or I was just in a good mood, but this movie made me laugh my butt off. Easily the funniest movie of the year so far. I was very surprised at how the cast really worked well off each other, and the jokes just hit. There is such a sweet undertone to the movie that you just can't help but smile. The story is very predictable and goes through the motions like you'd expect, but the characters are just so likeable that you don't really mind going through the motions with them. I missed a lot of the dialogue after certain scenes because people were laughing so loud. The tent scene, the kissing scene, the cop scene. There are just some really great scenes here that work. Of course there are a few flat areas, but I just dug this raunchy Griswold-type family so much that I didn't mind the lulls. I'd definitely recommend seeing this with a crowd.

Sudekis is really starting to remind me of an early-80s Chevy Chase. And I mean that in a good way.
This looks great.

I think it looks pretty funny but I rarely see comedies in the theater so I'll wait for the Blu-ray.

I thought the trailers for this got funnier and funnier the more I watched them.
Reading the reviews:
Good concept. Mediocre/lazy script. Good/great cast. Quite common, nowadays. Hot Tub Machine Time, for example.
Sometimes, they get decent or even solid reviews. Other times, they get bad reviews.
This one is getting pretty bad reviews so far, but some are good. I still want to see it.

If this is fun, and has a good heart, like Hot Tub Time Machine, I will see it.
